| Just curious.
It does to me. Of course there are numerous different dialects of it. But in general.. i prefer British english.. or even Australian English to this countries version of it.
What about you? | |

| yes it does.
i travelled from danmark to the netherlands with 2 americans, and their speech annoyed me to no end.
british, however, is much better. i have a british collegue [sad enough she's gone during the summer vacation] and listening to her talk is like listening to a light spring rain, bringing new life and rainbows wherever it goes.
..but that could be personal. | |

| I don't like how people from the south west or the North East sound. Everyone else sounds fine to me. Though I personally can't stand British or Australian Accents, Scottish or Irish sounds ok but I don't like anything else. | |

| I wouldn't exaclty say American english sounds like 'crap', though, I'll admit that Irish/Scottish/Brittish/Aussie english sounds way cooler. English, by itself is more difficult to understand than other languages like spanish, though waaaaaay easier to learn than, say, chinese. I just like the flow of the origional english, the kind you get in the above 4 aforesaid nations. Care for a spot of tea, Gov'nah? | |
