Metallica is really overrated... Sure they might have been an inspiration to other bands but most bands that cite them suck that I have heard. They spawned an entirely new wave of crap music. Same thing with Pantera and Slayer

Antestors forsaken is maybe different style but its a freaking awesome cd

What do you think of (new) Drottnar ?

I have a new one of Drottnar (Welterwerk) and also Spiritual Battle i really don't like the vocals on that cd, honestly i don't listen much to both of them. They're so chaotic on Welterwerk, i like more tight produced metal like Night Eternal by Moonspell

I don't get what people see in Drottnar too... To me that is just noisy.

Crimson Moonlight sounds very beautiful IMO

I can see that if you don't like Crimson Moonlight you don't like Drottnar all that much either.
I love both

i dnot like drottnar but crimson moonlight is very nice, so fast with great melodies xd love it

Vaakevandring has only gotten LOTS and LOTS of positive response, simply because most of us has fallen in love with them immediatly.

Also, noone talks about Sanctifica anymore. Which really is a shame because their material on the Panto-split simply rules, Spirit of Purity is really good and the Negative B release is also really enjoyable.

"Sorg" is the most beautiful song I ever heard, one of a few that can get me emotional.

Sorg is indeed awesome, also some other songs however if you've first listened to The Forsaken and expect more in the vein of that album then trust me it's one heck of a disappointment
