- ha ha , the intro was a fluke too... where teh hits are,
We had always played it with me playing the guitar riff full speed, while the drums and bass did the hits. well we were working on the beginning and i figured i would have the second guitar track do the hits too...
well i tracked them, and then listened to it without the first guitar track playing and loved it... so i doulbled the hits with both guitar tracks and left it, then played it later for the band and they agreed it was cooler. what a great fluke!! | |

| Ha... the intro to Born To Pieces was another fluke...
I threw the original intro away and took something out of the song that our keyboardist had written as an accompaniment piece later in the song, added a touch of reverb and it is awesome!
soon this will be done! | |

| Ah I'm so glad he did !!! I tried to do it with my computer mic, but it sounded so incredibly lame that I didn't want to send it to you.

| a new song is online ( www.myspace.com/frostlikeashes)my thoughts : This song is awesome !! THe harpsichord adds indeed a whole lot I miss that instrument in general metal. The rythmicness of the song is interesting. The drums sound a bit spastic, but in a good way. Vocals are great, less hard to get into than Tophet, but this time awesome from the first listen, and still typical Azahel. The whispering is freaky and cool. I am highly looking forward to the whole EP. The 2nd part of the song (after the scream, the more uptempo part) is awesome, easier to get into and very FLA. | |
