Revelations Vol. 1: A Light in a Dark Place - Track Listing, etc...

Revelations Vol. 1: A Light in a Dark Place is the first in an underground black metal series of compilations that Sullen Records will be releasing over the course of the next several months.

Volume 1 has some killer veterans included on it as well as an excellent mixtures of new comers to the scene. This is going to be a great opportunity for some of these newer artists to gain some exposure within the scene.

Most of you know Felipe from Sorrowstorm. Felipe has graciously agreed to put together some liner notes for the release. They will deal with some back ground on the beginnings of the Christian Black Metal scene as well speak of his experiences with the back lash from the secular Black Metal community.

Unfortunately we did in the end have to turn down numerous artists for this volume due to the fact that so many artists submitted material last minute. If you did not make volume 1, you will have the first opportunity to be on volume 2.

Revelations Vol. 1 will be released in late July / early August. As with all Sullen releases it will be limited to 250 units. Pre-orders will start to take place at the beginning of July.

Nice tracklist

I'm looking forward to this album,
I think it might be able to get my interest in black metal back up.

Also nice to see some bands on there that aren't all tr00 black (like Azmaveth, Frost Like Ashes, ...)

And ofcourse... Blood Drift

It's great to see Borgazur and Blooddrift between them.
Also seeing Azmaveth is a big suprise to! These guys really do deserve the attention.

Never really heard anything from Winter's Dawn, JOB and Sanctus Obscurum so bring it on ^^
