There isn't one in the direct neighborhood of Apeldoorn, but there are some around them, at 20 km distance or so...


For now, it looks like I can't come. I need 70 euros so far, NOT counting night rest, which I count at max. 40 euros if we go with a group.

A new idea just got to me; What about a youth hostel? Then we all have a bed at least, and it is closer to the fest of course. I'll go check out some adresses.

Nora, it would be really nice if you checked for places to stay.

Btw, Blood Drift is talking with the organisation to see if we could play,
they are certainly interested and said that if it wasn't happening this year, they certainly would love getting us next year if there was another Brainstorm.

Wow, that's cool! That will be no nordicfest 2009 for me then!

If I know about how big the group will be, I could make a reservation in about.. September or so? Then everyone is back from Flevo...

i just spoke to my parents about this festival...only my dad didn't give me a clear answer...so i have to ask it again....but he seems not to have a problem with it

Germany brings us World To Ashes (D, melodic death-metal) to bang your heads to their wall of sound. Recently the band toured very successfully in The Netherlands and Germany, and their party will continue at Brainstorm Festival.

From Holland comes Picture Of The Moon (NL, progressive rock/metal) to please fans of bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X and Riverside. Currently the band is working on new material, which will make their show during Brainstorm Festival even more interesting.

Too bad Mena Brinno doesn't sound more like Nightwish...

I'm looking forward to World to Ashes, anyway. Picture of the Moon is just not 'my thing.'
But well, there are a few different styles to be found on Brainstorm, which is nice IMO.

Monoblock is a great band. I like it.

The good news is that we have found some high quality replacement: Harmony (S, progressive heavy metal) This Swedish progressive heavy metal band recently released a new mini-cd and will present their upcoming full-length album 'Chapter II: Aftermath' at Brainstorm Festival.

At the same time we want to announce some changes in the schedule. Seventh Angel will headline the Friday-night. Other bands playing that day are Seventh Avenue, Harmony and Monoblock. Eluveitie will headline the Saturday-night, with co-headliner Rebellion. Other bands playing are Mehida, Morphia, Miseration and World To Ashes. The schedule for Sunday hasn't changed.
