| I went out shopping this evening after work to look for a new chair for my room. I found a decent chair and proceeded to the checkout lane. While standing in line, a girl walked by and got behind me in line. I thought to myself, she looks familiar, who is she? Where do I know her from? Then she spoke to someone behind her, and then I knew who she was. That raspy voice I could never forget. She was an old friend that I first met while in Kindergarten in the very first school I ever went to. That was about 18 years ago. I hadn't seen her or talked to her in 15 years before today. She didn't recognize me at all. After a few minutes, I told her who I was, and she looked at me for a minute and still really didn't recognize me. As I look completely different now than I did 15 years ago. Now with my long hair and caveman beard. We spoke for a minute. Then I paid for my chair and began to leave. I turned back and said Bye, and she didn't say anything. She wasn't very happy or excited seeing me again. I guess I looked too different, and I was not the guy she remembered from 15 years ago. Pretty sad and depressing. But that's the way it goes. |

| well yea.. you both are different people than you were as small children.. that's how it works. You 'll be a different person than you are now in the near future as well.
We're all growing into what we really are.. for better or worse. | |

| *hugs* that sucks. I had that too once, My guess is that she didn't really believe you. I told a girl that I knew her from kindergarten too, and she was all like, no way, you're just kidding me, even when I called her by her name. Some people are stupid. And as Ash sais, people change, let her go. You're the cool guy | |

| It's just weird how these kinds of things happen. So many years go by, and you have completely forgotten about someone, then you run into them again one day. It really messes with my mind, and makes me think, why did this happen? Why did I see this person again after all these years? It wasn't a bad experience. Just left me with that big empty feeling that I get after running into people that I haven't seen in years. But this was the biggest period of time since I had seen an old friend/person from the past. |

| I have some around here somewhere, but I don't have any way to get them online.
And besides, I look way too stupid with short hair and no beard.
And, you would never know it was me. I look way different. |

| Yep right now I have a huge caveman beard. But I will be shaving it soon, as it is getting hot here, and I've been growing it for about 5 months, so it's time for something new |
