| Who's into classical stuf? Which composers do you like? I do like the heavy orchestrated stuf and the great choirs... I've allways loved choirs... I love soundtracks therefor: it's very powerful music to catch an emotion and make a dense atmosphere... I like Hans Zimmer a lot... Love the mystical feel of the soundtrack of The DaVinci Code... I'm not into the light 'jumpy' stuff... Composers like MOzart just don't work for me... Händel has some great choral works, though... I've yet to check out Wagner: I thought he's done some heavy orchestras... I recently bought the STABAT MATER of Karl Jenkins... I love this composer for his grotesque choral works... I'm pretty sure you all know him from his ADIEMUS project... http://www.myspace.com/jenkinsadiemus |

| I dislike Mozart too.
Some work that has really touched me is Beethovens Moonlight Sonata, it's quite powerful and emotional when executed well.
I also like big choir music, Carmina Burana is a very interesting work. The music of Wagner is nice, although he wasn't the most purest of men. Deeply involved in things that aren't too 'kosher' as we say.
The main theme of the Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra of Britten (the first melody) is highly enjoyable too.
I like some stuff of Bach on organ and some Vivaldi, but I don't listen those too often. | |

| My teacher of music-theory/harmony is obsessed with Chopin, she can tell his whole life with close to all details, she's mad when it comes to Chopin, she once got pissed when a student said he thought Chopin's music was shallow. - Discipvlvs wrote:

| I took a music appreciation class in college. So I do enjoy a little classical sometimes. Beethoven of course. And I enjoy the Organ Fugues of JS Bach |

| I don't really listen too much classical music unless it's added into metal, but I do like Vivaldi and other Baroque era musicians. | |
