hahahaha true dat.
everywhere in Belgium we hear we have to be careful with 'light polution'
(Belgium is the biggest light polutor in Europe, -because of our size and ridiculous amount of highways etc-)
But at least we don't do that to our houses xD
although it's nicer looking xD

It's an atrocious American habit. Once a year we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by stringing up lights in a most hideous fashion. What that has to do with Christ' birth is beyond me, but that's what they do.

That's a thought, but the lights are so very temporary. I mean, we're talking 2 months if we're extremely unfortunate and they stay up so long. I think it's just another example of pathetic American extravagance.
