because i couldn't not make a thread about them.

so. they're a band that doesn't really fit under a label. instead, they call their music "raw rock". their upcoming double-album "anorexia nervosa" is going to be something real special.

i think their lyrics & music are super amazing and cool.

anyone else who knows and likes their music?

which one? 'cause there's two pigs. =P

i'm really excited about their new album, it's going to sound a lot different from their former albums [which were very diverse too].

I liked the first cd. They had some great cuts on there. Stabbing Art to Death, Matthias Replaces Judas, and of course, Dead by Dawn. Great songs.

those songs are great indeed. i think and the smokers and children shall be cast down is the best song on that album. i guess it also means alot to me personally.

but actually, that album's their third full-length.

i like life, kisses and other wasted efforts [their second full length album] the best. killing myself and search for happiness are awesome songs.

Matthias is always the cool guy xD

on a serious note,
I've listened to some songs, and they're not bad,
but not really my thing.

this one needs a bump!

seriously, everyone. showbread's released two new full-length cd's called anorexia and nervosa.. they're concept albums about two sisters. they tell their stories. it's really amazing!

go & buy it, all of you. ^^ downloading = not an option, you'll need the booklets to read the stories.

I don't really like Showbread that much. Matthias is a good song. I liked The Pig from Nervosa.

you should listen to all of nervosa.. or even better, all of anorexia and nervosa. the story that comes with it is awesome.

also, the music is cool. kinda dark and industrial-like.

Isn't Anorexia the more progressive one. I'm not a big fan of progessive music, it doesn't have enough "volumn" for me. I have checked out Nervosa and it's not that bad.
