Max told me MONTHS ago that he had turned it over to you, but swore me to silence until you were ready to get this thing back up. I see that Ann and Carly are on here as well. That's okay, I don't know you either.

I was an old member of JesusMetal before it was taken down. I was fairly active on there, 4th or 5th in total posts, or something like that. I became pretty decent friends with Matt, Carly and Ann (or so I would like to think). But hey, it's all good. I'm sure I'll get to know you as time goes by.

Back in the old days I was shocked myself to see the old message board gone.
I'm quite happy that I was able to take over and make it all active again.

I should ask Max himself to join again, and I might send invitations to the other guys too,
although I'm pretty sure that most of them have their own forum they're busy it.
Butmaybe I can get Sylvia and Harmen to join again Wink

Elias is doing well too, I should ask him to re-join too, although he does know that the forum is back up.

You have indeed known us for quite a while now, and I can pm you the old name, but the thing is we have decided
that we weren't going to link the previous band to BloodDrift, since there have been some yeah... things that happened in the past.

Well, if there are some old memories (not necessarily positive ones) attached to the old band, then never mind...it's not that important for me to know. As far as older members re-joining: if they can, then great; if not...well, I understand that life moves on, and maybe they did as well. After all, many of them probably thought that the forum was never coming back. But it would be nice to see as many of the old guys as possible.

Although I am grateful for all the new ones as well.

The old JM board had a decent size membership (couple of hundred I think), but there was about 12-15 of us who were active members who became fairly good friends on that board.

Matter of fact, that board was so influential (in terms of music), that the amount of Metal I've listened to since the closing of the board greatly decreased (I had no one to discuss it with, y'know?), but I've enjoyed dusting off some of my old albums since yesterday...brings back some good memories.

The one thing that would really make it seem like the old board would be for Max to come on here periodically and fuss us for going off topic all the time...hahaha.
